prepare for national geographic inspired psychobabble..... now.
maybe our universe isn't infinite in the sense of always expanding . maybe it is a circle that continues back where it starts . maybe there are as many universes as there are stars, like soap bubbles or atoms or something . floating around in a much bigger universe, neverending, like a room full of mirrors . but what would the purpose of that universe be? maybe the purpose of being is just to be . but you don't eat just to eat, you eat to taste and to nourish and live . so why would anything be just to be? isn't there some purpose other than just doing something for the sake of having something to do? what's the point in anything, if not?
enough psychobabble about the universe, i've got other things to psychobabble about . this article about route 66 is very sad but true . The road hearkens to a time when we had time, he says. "As a culture, it takes us a long time to figure out we've lost something." wasn't there once a time when america was actually looked up on, rather than down upon? when we actually had some culture other than pop culture and people were actually living their own lives, when children weren't being lined up to go to school to be taught how to be individuals? when did people start caring about money and sex more than about people? why did people get so selfish? why do i keep getting outbid at ebay?
when do i get my lollipop, mommy?
