first time trying xanax . i read about it's effects & etc on erowid, then set a relaxing mood with candles, incense, black light, music and wait for it to get dark out . i take it at 8:45 and lie down in the dark . after only a few minutes i already feel more relaxed and feel kind of a light warm numbness all over . i feel so peaceful and numb to everything, and curl up on my bed for a while . i feel a little detached from reality and want to be alone . later i get some watermelon then lie upside down and watch boiler room . i notice my throat's a little dryer and i've got an increased appetite . my senses feel kind of dulled too, and it feels like everything's slowed down a bit, but time moves incredibly fast . it's already 12:17 now, and i have no idea where the last three hours went . no incredible effects, but a nice chill pill .
